New Super Mario Bros Wii takes us back to the roots of the series, and does an amazing job. The story is your every day Mario tale, so I won't go into detail about it. The game has nifty colorful graphics and a memorable soundtrack that you will continue to hum for a long time. New Super Mario Bros Wii is a combination of all the 2D Mario games (and Mario 64) of the past, although the gameplay hasn't changed. You go through very cleverly designed levels within 8 worlds and fight the Koopalings time after time. Been there, done that. The new power-ups are fun to use, and the added multiplayer makes the game even more challenging than it already is. Overall, this game is a must-get for all Wii owners and Mario fans alike.

MICHAEL JACKSON'S THIS IS IT
The good: gives us a deeper look into a musical genius' mind
The bad: we don't see MJ at his best

Michael Jackson's This Is It gives us a closer look at a musical genius, and his preparation for a tour that was never meant to be. The documentation captures Jackson rehearsing for over 10 famous songs from his lifetime as a solo Pop artist. Though Jackson was 50 at that time, there's never a sign of aging on him. He dances and sings like he was in his 20's, and most of the time, he out-dances the other dancers on stage. He's totally in charge. Still, it felt like he wasn't quite at his full health. He's extremely skinny, and doesn't do moves like in the past too much, and he's kind of "out there" sometimes. The movie also shows the technical side of the tour, as they were preparing props, 3D animations and other technical tweaks to make the show as epic as it would have been. Near the ending, Jackson talks a lot about crisis and how we need to change the world, giving us his final message before his passing. Overall, it's a treat for all MJ fans, and I'm sure anyone who sees it will feel heart broken as they leave the theater, thinking "Gone Too Soon".
